Just before halftime, hometown hero Stephen Parez sparked joy for France with a sensational coast-to-coast try, giving them a 7-5 lead.

Despite an early yellow card in the second half for Isgro, Tomas Elizalde's heroic try-saving effort wasn't enough. Jefferson-Lee Joseph extended France's lead, and Paulin Riva sealed the victory, crowning France as the champions. What a match!
